This flexible and broad-based major combines highly creative, informed and industry-focused practice with basic knowledge and theory of advertising design and planning. The syllabus is designed to nurture students’ creative and artistic design capabilities, using computer software. Students will also develop their skills in market research, writing advertising copy, and creating integrated marketing campaigns. In addition, they will gain a strong foundation in painting and photography. The basic rules of advertising design, relative laws and regulations of advertising communication and intellectual property rights will be covered. Through these studies, students will achieve a high-level humanities education and strong self-learning capabilities.
