Chinese Language and Literature aims to provide both practical training and vast knowledge of the humanities in the field of cultural communication. The program helps students develop in a well-rounded way--morally, intellectually and physically. Graduates are expected to have systematic knowledge of Chinese language and literature, be well-grounded in writing skills, and have a good command of the theories and skills of cultural communication and planning, as well as business secretary. After four years’ study, graduates will be capable of creating and planning for the cultural industry, writing official documents, editing news, and doing the jobs of photographer and film or video camera operator. They also will be qualified for the work of investigation and research, applied writing, document management, meeting management, public relations planning and daily secretary.
