Fujian Colleges’ Key Laboratory for Material Preparation and Shaping Technology was founded in 2007 with the approval of Fujian Education Department, which is an integrated platform of experimental teaching, scientific research and service with relatively independent but well coupled subunits of material preparation, processing, testing, shaping and mould design. The laboratory has over 20 staff, among whom 3 are professors, 7 associate professors and 11 doctorate holders, whose main research orientations include material preparation and mechanical behaviour, development and testing of new material shaping and processing technology. The staff have published more than 20 papers and have undertaken about a dozen research projects.
