LIN Conghua majored in Urban Planning of Fujian Building Engineering School, and graduated in 1981. 1990, Bachelor’s Degree of Urban Planning from Northwest Architecture and Engineering College. He has been Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the General Party Branch of Fujian College of Architecture & C.E, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Director of the Department of Construction and Planning, FJUT. He has been long engaged in urban planning education, architectural history and theory teaching and research work, and has ever taught: Introduction to City Planning, Principles of City Planning, Overall Planning of Cities, Principle and Design of Scenic Spot Planning, The Theory of Chinese Traditional Architectural, Chinese Traditional Architectural Culture, etc. and has presided five department-level research subjects, including two national sub-subjects. Of all the more than 40 published papers, eight are indexed by EI. He has also published one book, and compiled one book (associate editor). He has won the honor of the first-rank excellent course of national ministry of construction, one third prize of Excellent Teaching Achievement Prize of China Construction, the second prize of Fujian teaching achievement, third prize of Excellent Natural Science Academic essays of Fujian Province, second prize of the paper on Fujian and Taiwan International Geographical Relations Symposium, the third prize of Fujian Excellent City Planning and Design, the third prize of Fujian Province “Suggestions of Advancing the Construction of Two Pioneer Areas”, and third prize for implementing the “Supporting Fujian Province to Speed Up the Construction of the Economic Zone of the West Bank of Strait by the State Council”, the first prize for teaching of FJUT, “Teaching Masters Award”, “Excellent Teacher”, “Outstanding Technical Worker” and so on.
