Journalism Major aims to train inter-disciplinary talents for news media and other cultural undertaking and industry, and those who can have a systematic knowledge and skills of journalism. After 4 years’ study, the graduates can have a solid foundation of the related theories and a wide range of knowledge in culture and science. And they can also have good literary attainments, quality skills of interviewing, writing, editing and commenting. They will be equipped with the quality and attainments of professional journalists (like a financial or legal reporter) and familiar with news policies and regulations in China. Meanwhile they will be trained to have comprehensive ability of English reading and writing and working in news agency.
