Prof. Peng Jianping, from Xiangtan, Hunan Province, acquired Doctor Degree in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with the major of Economics. Prof. Peng currently is the director of Teaching and Research Office for International Economics and Trade. He is also the principal of the major in International Economics and Trade.

The major research directions of Prof. Peng are International Economics and Trade,Technological Innovation and Industry Economics. He published over 30 papers inStatistical Research,China Reform,System EngineeringandContemporary Finance & Economicswith 2 ISTP. Two of them were reprinted by RDFY. Prof. Peng has a monograph ofA Research on Independent Innovation and Updating of Industrial Structure. He took charge in 1 project from Human Social Science Fund Project of the Ministry of Education and 1 planning project from National Bureau of Statistics. He has participated in a key tender project from National Philosophy and Social Science Fund and been the director of its subordinate task. He has also participated in a lot of projects at provincial, departmental and municipal level. Prof. Peng takes part in provincial Excellent Curriculum as major member too.
