Prof. Liu Yuanfang, Master, supervising engineer, is currently the Minister of the Organization Department. She is the leader of key discipline of Management Science and Engineering (Construction Costs) and the provincial undergraduate Teaching Team of Construction Costs. She is also the director of provincial Talents Cultivating Mode Innovation Centre for the major of Construction Management and the national featured major of Construction Costs.

Prof. Liu has long been devotedly engaged in education and teaching with extensive management and engineering practice experience. She has participated in the researches on many projects from National Nature Science Foundation, Provincial Nature Science Foundation and Special Fund for the innovation of Youth Scientific Talents supported by the provincial Scientific and Technology Agency. She has took charge in the key projects of A Research on the Development of Construction Enterprises in Fujian Province and A Research on Establishing Perfect Corporate Governance of Enterprises during the Reformation of State-owned Construction Enterprises from the provincial Building Department, as well as Human Social Science Fund Project of provincial Education Department. Prof. Liu has presided or participated in 28 scientific researches and teaching projects at national, provincial, departmental and college level. She formally published 1 monograph. She is the editor of 6 textbooks and the subeditor of 5 textbooks. She published more than 40 papers inChina Soft Scienceand other core journals.

She won the third Prize in provincial Social Science Excellence Achievements with the project of A Research on the Development of Construction Enterprises in Fujian Province–Based on Investigation and Evaluation of Construction Enterprises in Fujian province as the director. She won the Third Prize in provincial Excellent Achievements of Higher Education Scientific Research with the project of the Innovation and Practice of Special Talents Cultivation System for the major of Construction Costs as the director. She won provincial Excellent Achievements of Higher Education Scientific Research with the project of the Cultivation of Applicative Talents by Scientific Development Concept. She won the First Prize in 2007-2008 provincial Excellent Achievements of Scientific Research with the project of A Research on the Development of Construction Enterprises in Fujian Province, too. The curriculum of Measurement of Civil Engineering given by Prof. Liu was rated as the national Excellent Curriculum while the course of Measurement and Valuation of Architectural Engineering was rated as the provincial Excellent Curriculum. She won 12 teaching and Scientific Research Achievements at provincial or above level, including the Second Prize in provincial Teaching Achievements with the project of the New Special Talents Cultivation System for the major of Construction Costs with the cooperation of production and academy.

Prof. Liu was honored with the Woman Pace-setter of Fujian province, 4th provincial Outstanding Teacher, provincial Model of Teacher’s Professional Ethics, provincial Excellent Teacher and the first candidate of New Century Excellent Talents.
