ZHOU Jizhong

Zhou Jizhong, Professor and Master’s Supervisor, is now the director of constructional teaching and research office, director of Department of Civil Engineering of, Fujian University of Technology currently. He also serves as Deputy Secretary-General general of Construction Academic Committee of Fujian Civil Construction Academy, standing director of Fujian Provincial Engineering Construction Quality and Safety Association, Member of Advisory Committee of Fujian Provincial Engineering Supervision and Project Management Association, senior engineering technology senior expert of Fujian Provincial Engineering Construction Quality Safety Association, safety special-specific construction scheme argumentative expert of Fujian Provincial Construction Project (the first group), and reviewer of academic journal, magazine and theses of like Fujian Construction and Fujian Construction Technology.

Zhou has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research of engineering construction, as well as a main lecturer of disciplines offering courses like Civil Engineering Construction Technology, Civil Engineering Construction Organization, High-rise Building Construction, Project Construction Supervision, etc. His research covers complex structure construction, special technology of for safety and informatization of civil engineering construction information. Host He took charge of and participated in 30 national, provincial, college-level scientific research and teaching tasks. Obtain, developing one “National Excellent Course” and one Fujian Provincial Excellent Course;. Other awards he obtained include: one first-prize in Fujian Provincial Teaching Achievements, one second-prize, one provincial excellent network course and excellent courseware. Obtain Besides, he had 9 practical new patents and 1 public invention patent authorized by State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China, and publish one invention patent, and achieved publication of more than 30 theses, of which 3 are included in EI and one is included in ISTP, and of; formal participation in the edition of 6 teaching materials, in whose compilation he took part. Gain In our university, he won the title of School Excellent Teacher for many times, gained the award of the first session of “Teaching Master” of Fujian University of Technology in 2008, the third session of school “Star of Professional Ethics” in 2009, and was appraised as “2007-2008 School Excellent Scientific and Technical Worker” by the school in 2010. His invention “new scaffold” with practical new patent won bronze in 6•18 Cross-strait Innovation Achievement Exhibition of Workers across the Strait in, 2011.
